CFCA- CHENNAI PROJECT
EMPOWERMENT THROUGH EDUCATION
Every person has the opportunity to express and realize his or her life project and can develop fully as a person. The belief that quality education can help reduce poverty and inequality comes from the recognition that education is a basic human right—similar to food and shelter—and that it is vital to protecting human dignity. This is what as an Organization, CFCA believes in and we at Chennai also believe in. Education opens doors to the job market, combats inequality, improves maternal health, reduces child mortality, fosters solidarity, and promotes environmental stewardship. Education empowers people with the knowledge, skills, and values they need to build a better world. We at Chennai also strive to provide the means for a child in a family to receive a good education and in the long run build hope for that family to succeed in life.
The four zones South, North, Central, and Vellore of Chennai Project are sub-divided into 22 sub-projects. The total number of beneficiaries (children & aging) benefitting from this project is 3690 as of March 2020.
CFCA Chennai has been able to make a real difference in the lives of so many children. Through the sponsorship program, we give children the support they needed to be their own agents of change. With the amazing commitment from our valued sponsors, we can change a child’s life from one of hardship and loneliness to one of hope and meaning.
