Supriya is the mother of Nitesh Davuluri belonging to Pratibha Mothers Group. She was trained in making fancy bags and key chains with beads by her neighbour. She started preparing such items and sold them in her community. Through this, she earned an amount of around Rs. 2,000/- per month which was a support to her family. She continued to make these bags and trained other SMG members to fulfil her family needs. Then she got an opportunity to start a canteen in an engineering college. She applied for a loan of Rs.30,000/- from SMG and she also availed Rs.70,000/- from other moneylenders. After repaying the first loan, she again availed Rs. 40,000/-and then Rs. 70,000 /-for purchasing groceries and stationery items to extend the canteen facilities. At present she is able to give employment to three more members and earn Rs 12,000/- to Rs 15,000/- per month along with repayment of loan. She is very happy and thankful to CFCA for giving their support.
